A late nineteenth-century chromolithograph bird’s-eye view of New Orleans, Louisiana, displaying the city in a northerly view, with the waterfront and the Mississippi River in the foreground, and Lake Ponchartrain seen in the distance (on the horizon). The original lithograph was published in 1885 by Currier and Ives. The current copy is a beautifully recreated gouttelette print on watercolor textured, cotton fine art paper.
