An attractive, compact plan of London, first published in 1667, showing the city as it was before the Great Fire of 1666. The map is adorned with coats of arms of the City of London, 15 of the livery companies, and the personal Arms of Sir Robert Vyner (Viner), future Lord Mayor of London. The plan, drawn and engraved by Wenceslas (Wenzel) Hollar for Richard Blome, contains a dedication to Lord Vyner: “To the Hon. Sr. Robert Vyner of the Citty of London Alderman, Kt. and Baronet; This Mapp is humbly dedicated by Ric: Blome”. The map contains an alphanumerical key with 69 landmark locations.
