A detailed nineteenth-century plan of Munich (München), with an expansive panoramic view of the city from the East across the Isar River. The map was originally published in 1832 as a steel plate engraving, fully hand-colored, a very rare such edition by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge (SDUK). This very attractive map of Munich was published together with the map of Bordeaux. It also pairs well with other SDUK city plans in our collection — Liverpool, Naples, Venice.
