An art print of the Sudarium of Saint Veronica, a virtuoso work of art, originally created in 1649 by Claude Mellan, a master burin engraver, with a single line, spiralling out of the tip of Christ’s nose. Not to be confused with the Shroud of Turin, the Veil of Saint Veronica, (The Veronica, The Holy Face, Volto Santo), is a Catholic relic which according to legend bears an image of the face of Christ, believed to have been imprinted on the cloth (sudarium), with which Saint Veronica wiped his face, as he was on his way to be crucified.
